Many thanks to those of you who attended Josh's graduation party! We love and appreciate our church family so much! Pastor Rick, Kim, and Joshua
We truly are thankful for such a loving church body. God bless, Amber
I sure do love cookies! God bless,
Also thank you for the scholarship money. The Christmas gift came just in time, as I needed new tires for my car and didn't know how I was going to pay for them. Thank you for the prayers and support as well, they are greatly appreciated as I go through the struggles of college and being more independent. Allison Russell
Thank you again,
I am so proud of you!! My dear dear friend, Evangelist Jessie Scott, 101 years old went to be with the Lord last Tuesday. She had been a shut-in for about a year and could not attend church. Pastor Rick was so gracious to allow us to have her funeral at Trinity. It was a beautiful service and several local ministers were present and spoke about how Jessie had been involved in their lives. It was a glorious time and Jessie truely had the funeral that she deserved. She was honored, the Lord was glorified and the Holy Spirit was present. Many thanks to my friends from the Thursday morning Bible study for your generosity in giving money and providing food for the meal. I love you all so much!! Thanks to Sam and Pastor Roper for handling the details, especially the sound system during the funeral. Thank you Amber, Margaret and Heidi for giving your time and service to see that the meal was so nice. Thanks to all who participated. I am so happy to be a part of such a great church family. Many blessings to you all in the name of Jesus, Margaret Winegarner.
Thank you so much for the care packages and the financial support you have provided in recent months. They were both very encouraging and useful as I began my final semester at DePauw University. I also wanted to thank you for the continued spiritual support and prayers you all have provided in the last three and a half years; college can be trying at times, but it is nice to know that there is still a group of individuals back home who are willing to help in any manner possible. Thanks again for all you have done and continue to do, it is greatly appreciated! God bless,
Thank you so much for your generous donation of $150.oo for our food pantry. Due to the economy, in recent months, our services to families has increased. For the month of January in 2009, we served 78 families and in the same month in 2010, we served 117 families. For Christmas in 2008, we served 524 families and this past Chrstmas we served 694 families. We have also seen a large increase in the number of people attending our soup kitchen each month. Because of your continual generosity, we were ale to meet this increase in needed services here in Marion county and the surrounding areas. Thank you again for your support. We greatly appreciate your donation. May God bless you. Sincerely, Joan E. Sayer
For us to say "thank you" is far too insufficient. We feel so blessed by the love, support, cards, phone calls, etc. that we have received in the past few months. We love you all and ask for your continue prayers. Your friends,
Thanks for all your prayers! The children did well while Lee was in Kenya and the unrest in Jos did not extend directly to the Rafiki Village. The continuing education with great Christian fellowship in Kenya was well worth the time and effort. The medicines from Kenya were within the weight allowance and there were no problems at customs even though the baggage scanning lady in Kenya questioned "Why so many medicines?" We hear the new ROS couple has plans to arrive in Jos this month. Home office staff had a safe and successful trip to West Africa and back. The major event for us was Dianne experienced loss of vision in her right eye from retinal separation and within three days we were in an Orlando emergency room and referred to an eye clinic where she had a gas bubble injected in here eye followed in a couple of dyas by laser repair. Praise the Lord she is regaining some vision slowly. Lee had medical evaluation in Kenya and the recommended medication was not available there, but has been started in the USA for stage one Parkinson. Dianne is not allowed to fly for at least two months due to the bubble in her eye, but Lee would like to return to JOS to participate in the CMC scheduled for April 12-22. Serving joyfully with you,
Love,
We will be continuing the Soup Kitchen until May and take a break and begin again in September. Volunteers are gratefully appreciated. If you want to be part of this outreach program call Pat Holman or Ednita Vaflor. |
